Honda halts EV SUV development due to falling US demand, Nikkei reports

 Honda Motor has halted the development of a large electric SUV, a major part of its EV strategy, as demand for electric vehicles in the U.S. is expected to continue to fall, Nikkei has learned.

The Japanese automaker aims to curb investments in EVs, redirecting efforts toward increasing production of profitable hybrid vehicles.
