United States President Donald Trump and other world leaders are expected to attend a summit on Gaza during Trump's visit to Egypt next week, Axios reported on Friday.
The news outlet cited sources with knowledge of the matter, saying that organizers have already sent invitations to several European and Arab leaders. According to the sources, officials and foreign ministers from Germany, France, the UK, Italy, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Jordan, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan and Indonesia are expected to attend.
Axios also shared, citing a senior US official, that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will probably not participate, while several other US officials confirmed that Trump will most likely attend the meeting.
