Kuwait says Iran struck two of its power plants

 Fatima Hayat, the spokesperson for Kuwait's Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy (MEW), told the media that Iran's newest drone strikes hit two of the country's power plants and a water distillation facility, as quoted by the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA).

Hayat said that, due to the attack on the power plants, two power generation units have been out of service. She added that, despite "significant material damage," there have been no casualties.

Previously, Iranian drones hit the Gulf country's government complex and an oil hub belonging to the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation.
