An explosion that took place at a ski resort town in Switzerland killed several people, Swiss police told AFP on Thursday.
"There has been an explosion of unknown origin. There are several injured, and several dead," a police spokesman in Wallis canton, Gaetan Lathion, commented. The exact number of victims is yet to be released.
According to the BBC, the blast happened at the Constellation Bar in Crans-Montana, a luxury ski resort town located in the Valais region, at 01:30 local time.
