The United States House of Representatives approved a Republican health care package that excludes the renewal of subsidies under the Affordable Care Act, known as Obamacare, which are set to lapse on January 1.
The measure passed 216-211, with only one Republican joining the Democrats to vote against it.
According to Axios, the Senate is not expected to take up the House bill, which would leave the subsidies to lapse at the start of the year.
