The Qatari Foreign Ministry said in a statement on Friday that Iranian forces targeted installations hosting the Qatari Emiri Navy, operating within the framework of the joint Gulf action system, in Bahrain.
The ministry ensured that its troops, who were present at the targeted facilities, were evacuated safely, did not suffer any injuries and are feeling well.
"Qatar considers this act a blatant aggression and a clear violation of the sovereignty of the Kingdom of Bahrain, as well as a direct threat to its security, stability, and the security of the region," the ministry said, while expressing full solidarity and support for Bahrain in "confronting this aggression."
