Saudi Arabia repels drone attack on Aramco oil field

 Saudi Arabia's Defense Ministry announced it intercepted and destroyed six drones targeting Aramco's Shaybah Oil Field. The super-giant oil field is located in the Rub' al Khali desert, 10 kilometers south of the border with the United Arab Emirates.

Moreover, the ministry said a ballistic missile launched against the Prince Sultan Air Base, housing US troops, was successfully intercepted. The news comes amid the escalating conflict between the United States, Israel, and Iran. Since the outbreak of the conflict, drone and missile attacks have also been launched against US forces in Saudi Arabia, further exacerbating regional tensions.
