Aimed at protecting the health and safety of staff and their families amid the COVID-19 outbreak, the FDA has directed all eligible employees to start teleworking (fancy term for working from home).
It has also postponed most foreign facility
inspections through April and has postponed all domestic routine
surveillance facility inspections.
It will continue to respond to natural disasters,
outbreaks and other public health emergencies involving agency-regulated
products.
