Ukraine is set to import record levels of gas from Europe as Russian attacks on energy infrastructure and the rapid depletion of fuel buffers have pushed up demand.
“We believe that Ukraine will need up to 5 billion cubic meters in the season from April 2025 to April 2026,” said Dmitriy Sakharuk, Chief Executive Officer of D.Trading, the trading arm of DTEK, Ukraine’s largest private energy company.
