Alvotech (NASDAQ: ALVO), a global biotech company specializing in the development and manufacture of biosimilar medicines for patients worldwide, today announced the expansion of its capacity for assembly and packaging with the acquisition of Ivers-Lee Group (“Ivers-Lee”), a family owned business with headquarters in Burgdorf, Switzerland specializing in providing high-quality assembly and packaging services for the pharmaceutical sector. While Ivers-Lee will remain a separate legal entity, its operations will be integrated into Alvotech’s Technical Operations division, supporting Alvotech’s ambitious plans for growth.
