Bavarian Nordic A/S, the Danish vaccine maker, agreed to be taken private by a consortium consisting of private equity firms Nordic Capital and Permira for about 19 billion Danish kroner ($3 billion).
The offer price of 233 kroner in cash is a 21% premium to Wednesday’s close, Bavarian said in a statement Monday. The shares climbed beyond that in early Copenhagen trading, reaching 239 kroner.
