A Saudi Arabian delegation including government officials and businessmen arrived in Syria on Wednesday to sign pacts worth around $4 billion, most of which are expected to be memorandums of understanding and joint projects, according to Saudi media.
Saudi Investment Minister Khalid al-Falih and 120 investors from various sectors are part of the delegation, according to Saudi news agency Al Ekhbariya. More than 15 billion riyals ($4 billion) worth of deals are expected to be signed, Al Ekhbariya reported.
