The rapidly escalating war against parents continues in California. According to a new exposé from Anna Slatz as Reduxx news, a county “Child Welfare” agency just seized custody of a young teenaged girl, taking her from her father and mother, because the parents won’t affirm the girl’s made-up sexual identity that she discovered after working with a “therapist” for anxiety and depression issues.
As Slatz reports, the girl had a long history of poor mental health—she also suffered a potential brain injury—and the therapist sessions always included the mother’s presence…until they didn’t. In March 2023, the girl asked to meet with “Dr. Sager” alone:
‘My daughter asked [Dr. Sager] ‘do you help with LGBTQ issues,’ and then asked me to leave the room. I had concerns, but I did it because I didn’t want to be perceived as imposing on my daughter’s therapy,’ Ellie [the mother] explains, adding that she knew almost nothing about transgenderism or any other LGBTQ issues at the time.
Within a month, by April 2023, the 13-year-old girl was making “chilling comments” about state law that permitted government officials to “remove” children from a home if their parents don’t “affirm” their new identities, and shortly after that, at the age of 14, she was demanding cross-sex synthetic hormones and a hysterectomy.
At this point, the mother describes her daughter as becoming “unmanageable” and so she reached out to Dr. Sager, asking for help. Dr. Sager feigned support—however:
Unbeknownst to Ellie [the mother], Dr. Sager was already in the process of filing a report with county child welfare services to have Maya removed from their custody.
So, acting on a tip from the girl’s “therapist,” an agent with the Shasta County Child Welfare Services showed up at the family home unannounced, accused the parents of emotional harm, and “without presenting a warrant or court order,” demanded the child who at the time, was still only 14 years old. When “Ellie” began to ask questions about what in the world was going on, saying that without presenting the parents with an ID, judge’s order, or any form of legitimate documentation then the stranger on the porch was actually not going to be allowed access to the girl, the child welfare agent departed, and told the girl that since the county social worker wasn’t “legally” permitted to drive her, she’d have to jog behind the car—according to the parents, the agent stated that identification and paperwork was unnecessary. The agent then called the police, and eight officers quickly arrived to force the parents to hand over their daughter.
Since then, things have gone from bad to worse: Not content to kidnap a child from her parents and encourage psychiatric harm, the state went further, placing mom and dad on a “child abuse” registry, which specifically impacted the mother’s ability to remain a teacher.
How long until we see justice?
