United States President Donald Trump announced the creation of a new body tied to Gaza, called the Board of Peace.
Writing on Truth Social, Trump said the panel has been formed and that its members will be named later. "The Members of the Board will be announced shortly, but I can say with certainty that it is the Greatest and Most Prestigious Board ever assembled at any time, any place," he wrote.
The Board of Peace is a central piece of Trump's 20-point plan for Gaza, aimed at disarming militant groups, rebuilding infrastructure, releasing captives and ending the war between Israel and Hamas.
