United States President Donald Trump took to Truth Social on Friday to praise Iran for halting over 800 scheduled executions of protesters.
"I greatly respect the fact that all scheduled hangings, which were to take place yesterday (Over 800 of them), have been cancelled by the leadership of Iran. Thank you!" he wrote.
Yesterday, the White House confirmed that the regime "received the message" following pressure from Trump over its crackdown on protests. Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt added that "all options remain on the table" regarding the Islamic country, adding that Trump warned Iran of "grave consequences" if executions of demonstrators continued.
