Amazon names company veteran to lead pharmacy effort, CNBC says

According to Christina Farr and Eugene Kim of CNBC, Amazon’s (AMZN) Nader Kabbani is in charge of the company’s new pharmacy initiative. Kabbani, a 14-year Amazon veteran who worked on the Kindle platform, is now VP of consumables, special projects, says CNBC, citing an internal Amazon document seen by CNBC. Companies that may be impacted by this include, Rite Aid (RAD), Walgreens Boots Alliance (WBA) Walmart (WMT).
