Sensus Healthcare has signed a research and development agreement with the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania to collaborate with the radiation oncology department on clinical research and development for Sensus’ Sculptura robotic intraoperative radiation therapy system. The FDA granted market clearance to Sculptura in February, and the University of Pennsylvania, which is home to the Abramson Cancer Center, is the first in the world to house this new technology.
