Hospital operators up after HCA Q3 beat & guidance boost

Hospital system operators are in the green after HCA Holdings posted better-than-expected Q3 results this morning that featured an 11% jump in revenues, a 2% improvement in non-GAAP earnings and (modestly) more bullish earnings guidance. Shares are up 6% on average volume.

Community Health Systems (CYH +1.1%) is scheduled to release Q3 earnings after the close today.
