Citing delays associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, Mylan N.V. (NASDAQ:MYL) and Pfizer (NYSE:PFE) now expect the merger between Mylan and Upjohn to be finalized in H2 instead of next quarter.
Mylan’s extraordinary general meeting of
shareholders to approve the marriage has been rescheduled to June 30
from April 27, and the record date for this meeting and the annual
general meeting is now June 2.
The combined company will do business as Viatris.
