A group of six states will start work “immediately” on designing a
plan to reopen their economies amid the coronavirus pandemic, New York
Gov. Andrew Cuomo said Monday. Cuomo, a Democrat, said the states will
name public health and economic officials who will form a regional
working group to design the plan. In addition to New York, the states
are Connecticut, Delaware, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Rhode Island.
Earlier Monday, Cuomo said the worst of the outbreak is over in his state.
