Aimed at identifying targets for drugs and vaccines, Merck (NYSE:MRK) will collaborate with the Institute for Systems Biology (ISB) to investigate the molecular mechanisms of SARS-CoV-2 infection and COVID-19.
The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’
Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority (BARDA) will
provide funding to support the effort.
