In an interview with CNBC, Pfizer (PFE -0.5%)
chief Albert Bourla said that the company is already preparing to make
large volumes of its COVID-19 vaccine, “millions” of doses this year and
“hundreds of millions” in 2021.
Other vaccine competitors have announced similar plans: Sanofi (SNY -1.2%) (600M), J&J (JNJ -1.2%) (up to ~1B globally) and Moderna (MRNA +2.1%) (millions per month).
