AstraZeneca Covid vax could be distributed across Europe by mid-February: EU

 

• The European Medicines Agency said it is now studying the results of the AstraZeneca and Oxford University vaccine.
• The first delivery in the EU could happen in mid-February, an EU official said.
• The bloc has been vaccinating citizens with the Pfizer/BioNTech jab since late December.
• But the European Commission has been blamed for what critics describe as a slow rollout of coronavirus vaccines.
