Teva stock fell early Wednesday after the pharma giant reported adjusted earnings of 71 cents per share on $4.23 billion in fourth-quarter sales.
Analysts polled by FactSet expected Teva Pharmaceutical (TEVA) to earn 71 cents per share on $4.15 billion in sales.
During the same three months in 2023, Teva earned $1 a share and reported $4.46 billion in sales.
For the year, Teva said it expects earnings of $2.35 to $2.65 a share and revenue of $16.8 billion to $17.4 billion. The Street projected $2.78 earnings per share and $16.45 billion in sales.
Teva stock fell more than 11% to 19.13 in early trades.
Shares have a strong Relative Strength Rating of 93 out of a best-possible 99, according to IBD Digital. This means shares rank in the top 7% of all stocks when it comes to 12-month performance.
