The United States Federal Reserve announced on Friday that the industrial production report will be delayed since it relies on various data from the government, which is currently in shutdown.
"The industrial production indexes incorporate a range of data from other government agencies, the publication of which has been delayed as a result of the federal government shutdown. Consequently, the release will not be published as scheduled on October 17," the Fed said in a statement.
Additionally, the Fed also shared that the new publication date will be announced once the publishing schedule for the relevant data becomes available.
