Microsoft Azure said it has completed the deployment of its "last known good" configuration and that recovery is "progressing" after Wednesday's worldwide outage.
"We are seeing strong signs of improvement across affected regions and are tracking toward full mitigation by 23:40 UTC on 29 October 2025, though we will communicate if mitigation is achieved sooner," Azure said on its status page.
The outage, which impacted Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Teams users, also knocked out several airport websites. It affected Azure Communication Services, Azure Databricks, Media Services, Microsoft Entra ID and other services, the status page said.
