The United States is moving its military assets towards the Middle East, as the tensions in the region continue amid the ongoing protests in Iran, Fox News' White House Correspondent Aishah Hasnie reported on Thursday.
The report follows reassurances from US President Donald Trump that he will not attack Iran after he was informed that the "killing" in the country has stopped, with White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt revealing that "the 800 executions that were scheduled and supposed to take place yesterday were halted."
However, Leavitt also noted that the Trump administration is closely monitoring the situation in the Middle Eastern country and that "all options remain on the table."
