Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky remarked on Thursday that the issue of the United States granting his country a license to manufacture Patriot defense missile systems would be sorted at a political level.
Speaking during his regular evening address, Zelensky confirmed that discussions on further technical points of that arrangement will resume soon. He added that he discussed the matter "in detail" with US President Donald Trump on the sidelines of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) meeting in Ankara.
Moreover, Zelensky announced that Ukraine will receive more Patriot Advanced Capability-3 (PAC-3) surface-to-air missile interceptors from the US.
