An expected wave of initial public offerings by giant, well-known companies like these could open opportunities for investors to jump into businesses with leading positions in winner-take-all markets, potentially becoming the next Amazon (AMZN) or Facebook (FB), the publication notes. Yet investors should temper their expectations as steep private valuations could make the stocks disappointing, at least in the near-term, they add.
