Johnson & Johnson CEO Alex Gorsky said in a video message posted on the company’s website that “Since tests for asbestos in talc were first developed, J&J’s Baby Powder has never contained asbestos.” He added that regulators “have always found our talc to be asbestos-free.” He said J&J has fully cooperated with U.S. FDA, global authorities over decades. He added that “We stand behind our products.”
