Synthorx (NASDAQ:THOR) reveals in a filing that it received a $70/share bid after it had accepted Sanofi’s (NASDAQ:SNY) $68 offer.
The bid came from “Company A” on December 8, and the Sanofi deal was announced the following day.
Company A had offered to execute the offer in a matter of hours but asked Synthorx not to enter into a preliminary or definitive agreement with another buyer.
Synthorx shares are up 3.9% to $70.50.
