Xeris Pharma reports positive outcome from study of ready-to-use glucagon

Results from the in-clinic stage of a Phase 2 clinical trial evaluating Xeris Pharmaceuticals’ (NASDAQ:XERS) ready-to-use glucagon in bariatric surgery patients who experience episodes of low blood sugar (hypoglycemia) after meals showed that all participants were able to self-administer a mini dose that was sufficient to restore or maintain normal blood glucose levels within 15 minutes.

The study is now in the outpatient phase. Additional data should be available in H1 2020.
