Biohaven Pharmaceuticals (NYSE:BHVN) announces that the FDA has notified its collaborators at Boston’s Massachusetts General Hospital that they may proceed with a clinical trial of verdiperstat in patients with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS).
The study, HEALEY ALS, is a basket study that will evaluate multiple drugs in parallel.
Verdiperstat is also being evaluated for the treatment of multiple system atrophy.
