QIAGEN (NYSE:QGEN) has begun shipments in
the U.S. of its QIAstat-Dx Respiratory SARS-CoV-2 Panel test to aid in
diagnosing COVID-19. The test can differentiate the SARS-CoV-2
coronavirus from 20 other respiratory infections in a single testing run
in about an hour.
Under the FDA’s new policy, it will submit its Emergency Use Authorization application this week.
Shares up 4% premarket on light volume.
