Former US President Joe Biden was diagnosed last week with an aggressive form of prostate cancer, the New York Times reported Sunday, citing a spokesperson.
The diagnosis came after doctors found a “small nodule” on his prostate that required “further evaluation,” the newspaper said.
“While this represents a more aggressive form of the disease, the cancer appears to be hormone-sensitive which allows for effective management,” the statement from Biden’s office said. “The president and his family are reviewing treatment options with his physicians.”
