South Korean chipmaker SK Hynix said on Wednesday it has filed a confidential submission to the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) for a potential listing of its American depositary receipts (ADRs).
"We are pursuing a listing within 2026, but the specific details such as the size, method, and schedule of the public offering have not yet been finalized," the company said in a disclosure filed on South Korea's DART system. The final decision on whether to list will be made after considering the SEC's review, market conditions, demand forecasts, and other relevant factors, it noted.
SK Hynix added that it will make another disclosure on the matter either within six months or when specific details are finalized.
