BTCPay Server: Hot wallet attacks reported

 BTCPay Server, an open-source Bitcoin payment processor, said it's receiving reports of hot wallets being swept by unauthorized attackers.

"If you're running an instance, please shut it down (./btcpay-down.sh) until we complete the investigation," it said in a brief post on X, offering no further details.

This follows last week's largest-ever crypto heist, when Binance suffered a $6.3 billion attack.
