Sony (SNE) is boosting the output of its next-gen 3D sensors that power front- and rear-facing 3D cameras of smartphones and other devices, Bloomberg reports, citing the head of Sony’s sensor division. The report states that Sony’s customers include Apple (AAPL), though the company did not disclose the increased sales numbers or updated production targets.
