Addus HomeCare (NASDAQ:ADUS) has agreed to acquire privately held Birmingham, AL-based Hospice Partners of America, LLC for $130M, consisting of $118.4M for the business and $11.6M of estimated tax benefits. It will fund the deal via its credit revolver.
Hospice Partners serves ~1,000 patients each day across 21 locations. Annualized revenue is ~$55M.
