Maduro Urgently Seeks Military Aid From Russia & China With US Bulls-Eye On Venezuela
President Trump said on Friday that he's yet to make a final decision on launching a military attack on Venezuela, but President Nicolás Maduro is not waiting around while taking the US leader's word on it.
Maduro is reportedly urgently reaching out to Russia, China, and Iran for any possible military aid, including defense items which may have already been negotiated or are in the works. The Washington Post says it's obtained internal documents showing such recent and high-stakes requests.
"Amid a buildup of American forces in the Caribbean, Venezuela’s President Nicolás Maduro is reaching out to Russia, China and Iran to enhance its worn military capabilities and solicit assistance, requesting defensive radars, aircraft repairs and potentially missiles, according to internal U.S. government documents obtained by The Washington Post," the publication reports.
"The requests to Moscow were made in the form of a letter meant for Russian President Vladimir Putin and was intended to be delivered during a visit to the Russian capital by a senior aide this month," WaPo continues.
And separately, Maduro is said to have sent a formal letter to Chinese President Xi Jinping seeking "expanded military cooperation" between the two countries in order to counter "the escalation between the U.S. and Venezuela."
Maduro in it seeks to expedite Chinese companies' production of radar detection systems based on prior deals, in cooperation between Caracas and Beijing which has long been an open secret.
"In the missive, Maduro emphasized the seriousness of perceived U.S. aggression in the Caribbean, framing U.S. military action against Venezuela as action against China due to their shared ideology," the documents state according to the Post.
Transport Minister Ramón Celestino Velásquez is also reported to have sought military equipment from the Islamic Republic of Iran. He conveyed that his country needs--
- "passive detection equipment"
- "GPS scramblers"
- "drones with 1,000 km [600 mile] range"

But the reality is that despite obvious cooperation over the years - including Russian, Chinese, and Iranian military assets and personnel showing up at the occasional Venezuela military parade or state ceremony - these countries have their own problems to worry about, and are unlikely to want to poke Donald Trump at this sensitive moment in America's "own backyard".
With US sanctions on, and prior examples of interdictions on the high seas, even if Russia or China wanted to quickly assist Maduro as he's under the US bullseye it could prove logistically impossible.
'FDA autism drug move sparks frenzy, but data lags behind'
U.S. President Donald Trump's embrace of an old generic drug called leucovorin for use against a rare disorder that causes autism-like symptoms has triggered a surge in demand from parents who believe it could unlock speech and social connection in their autistic children.
That has become a challenge for pediatricians and specialists who caution the science on leucovorin in people with autism is limited and does not support widespread use.
In the month since Food and Drug Administration Commissioner Marty Makary promoted the decades-old drug from GSK, saying it could help “hundreds of thousands” of children with autism, doctors and researchers say they have been inundated by parents seeking information.
“My Facebook feed is flooded with parents swearing that leucovorin works,” said Dr. David Mandell, a professor of psychiatry and autism researcher at the University of Pennsylvania.
LACK OF DATA
Tens of thousands of people have joined a Facebook group called Leucovorin for Autism started in May by Keith Joyce, legal guardian to four-year-old Jose, who is taking the drug.
Joyce credits Jose's improvements in verbal communication and social awareness to leucovorin. The site gained 5,000 members on the day of Trump and Makary's White House announcement and now has 84,000.
Mandell and other scientists and doctors say FDA’s endorsement without requiring large, randomized clinical trials leaves practitioners facing emotional pleas from families while lacking data, guidance or confidence to prescribe the drug responsibly.
Leucovorin is approved to treat chemotherapy side effects but can be prescribed off-label for autism symptoms.
"It puts physicians in a very tough position because they're being asked to prescribe something that is not evidence-based," said Dr. Shafali Jeste, an autism expert and head of pediatrics at UCLA, who does not prescribe leucovorin despite repeated requests.
On Friday, the American Academy of Pediatrics said it does not recommend leucovorin for routine use in children with autism.
Autism rates have risen to 1 in 31 8-year-olds, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reported in April. Finding the condition's root cause and potential treatments is something Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Trump have championed.
RARE NEUROLOGICAL CONDITION
Despite the FDA commissioner's broad comments, his agency proposed a narrower expanded approval tied to cerebral folate deficiency (CFD), a genetic condition that can cause autism-like symptoms. It affects roughly one in 1 million children worldwide.
The argument for wider use is built on small studies suggesting many children with autism have autoantibodies that block folate - a vitamin important for brain signaling - from entering the brain, causing a deficiency similar to CFD.
An estimated 75% of autistic children are believed to have these autoantibodies, but their significance is unproven, said Dr. Karam Radwan, director of the Neurodevelopmental Disorders Program at the University of Chicago.
A Health and Human Services spokesperson said the FDA based its plan to update the leucovorin label to include CFD on an analysis of over 40 case studies published from 2009-2024. Overall, 85% of patients experienced some benefit including improved speech/communication capabilities.
HHS said leucovorin could be useful in children who have autoantibodies to folate, but conceded “the data are limited and need to be replicated.”
A spokesperson said the National Institutes of Health will support follow-up research into leucovorin's impact on CFD, as well as any potential benefit to individuals with autism. Post-market surveillance and safety studies are part of the plan.
PARENTS SEE A GREEN LIGHT
Parents have interpreted the FDA announcement as a green light for leucovorin's use in autism, sharing treatment tips that led Facebook to take down Joyce's site. It was reinstated with rules banning dosing discussions, only to be removed again last week for other violations.
Joyce started researching the drug after watching a news program featuring a boy with autism on the treatment who showed marked speech improvements.
He found just three studies, all by the same author, that he deemed credible. No large trials in autistic children comparing leucovorin to a placebo have been conducted.
Joyce reviewed the drug's track record in cancer patients, where leucovorin has been linked with insomnia, agitation and depression. In children, doctors and parents say it can lead to hyperactivity, aggression and feeling overwhelmed.
Jose's neurologist balked at prescribing leucovorin, but the boy's behavioral pediatrician, who heard about the drug at a conference, was willing to.
The child's care team measured language skills before treatment and four months later, Joyce said.
He is more aware of the world around him, and more responsive, Joyce said. "It's not curing his autism, but it improved his quality of life. I'm convinced it's real."
Radwan, who offers the drug in his practice, said doctorsdon't fully understand who may benefit, by how much and whether it is sustainable. So far, the benefit is “pretty modest," he said.
Parents in some online communities are calling for caution.
Sophia Urwin, 33, a single parent from Wellington, New Zealand, whose four-year-old, non-verbal son was diagnosed with autism in 2022, is concerned about desperate parents turning to over-the-counter versions of folinic acid.
"It’s really easy to get swept up in thinking something is a miracle ‘cure’ when you’ve been skating on thin ice for so long," she said.

Hangin’ With the Worst of the Worst
Where we conservatives got it wrong is that our messaging was that we’re only going after the worst of the worst. That set an expectation that only a select few illegals would be deported, leading to disingenuous outrage by media outlets and politicians. (Did you hear Dick Durbin equating arresting illegal aliens to WWII internment camps?)
The entire Trump administration knew that was not the case. Wherever you find one bad guy (or girl), you are bound to find others, mainly economic migrants or, even more problematic, family members, some of whom were born here after coming illegally—the result—perennially bad optics.
Then there is the definition of what the worst of the worst even means. According to Homeland Security, the definition is. The Trump Administration defines “the worst of the worst” as illegal aliens convicted of serious crimes, particularly violent offenses such as murder, rape, child sexual abuse, and drug trafficking.
Eventually, that definition was reasonably expanded to include illegal aliens who have a record of arrests but not necessarily convictions, those awaiting trial for violent or even economic crimes, and other undesirables. But that’s not good enough. None of them should be here.
The issue of undesirables needs a national discussion. Beating around the bush by claiming we are only going after a subset of illegal aliens has the effect of legitimizing other illegals not deemed the “worst of the worst”. That’s a huge public relations mistake that the left has exploited the Trump administration hasn’t addressed.
The direct result of losing the narrative through an unforced error is that the Democrats have been able to claim that touching anyone who is not a felon criminal puts democracy at risk, as if illegal aliens were somehow the equal of American citizens. In the process, they have devalued what it means to be an American citizen. Congress must rectify the blurring of the line between non-citizens and citizens; the President cannot.
Border czar Tom Homan stated that many people who are national security threats may not have criminal records but remain dangerous due to their intent or affiliations. The net result of this poorly conceived and implemented messaging is a gift to the left. Despite Trump’s efforts, most illegal aliens are still here, and aren’t going anywhere:
- Since Donald Trump came into office, about 515,000 illegal aliens (projected to be over 600,000 by the end of the year) have been or will have been deported.
- 1.6 million have self-deported during the same time period.
- The three most concentrated states for illegal immigrants are California, New York, and Illinois, with over 2.6 million illegal aliens.
- The Immigration Court System has 600 immigration judges overseeing 2.8 million cases, half of which involve individuals who have already been denied the right to stay and are fighting it. The balance is still to be adjudicated.
- 34% of asylum seekers never appear at their immigration hearings, resulting in default deportation orders.
- Eight hundred fifty thousand individuals have overstayed their visas and are subject to deportation.
- 56% of all illegal aliens reside in 13 sanctuary cities or states.
- Twenty-seven million people are trafficked in the world, with an unknown number, but in the hundreds of thousands, right here in the U.S., victimized.
Reading the above, it is not difficult to conclude that illegal immigration is a cancer in our country. A Harvard/Harris poll in October of this year found 56% of registered voters favor deporting all illegal immigrants. Reasons you hear for why illegal immigration cannot be allowed vary, including issues of the rule of law, criminality, economic costs, and the intent to change this country’s demographics, among others.
But perhaps the best reason is the easiest to understand—it’s simply not fair to the millions of people who are already here or want to be here legally. And that’s where it matters that the Trump administration has ceded ground to Democrats, allowing them to claim that “non-criminal” illegal aliens are de facto legal in some way. The consequences for this are dire.
America is America for a reason. Partly, it’s about our European ancestors who established a society fundamentally different from those of individuals from other parts of the world with different customs, outlooks, and aspirations. But, it is even more than that. An America that no longer has a shared common history is degraded.
Diversity, trumpeted as a strength, is a dagger aimed at our heart that we don’t name for fear of being labeled a racist. Millions of people believe this, yet don’t riot in the streets, loot, or attend large rallies in support of protecting our identity, nor break our laws as if they have a constitutional right to do so.
The silent majority needs to grow a spine and come to grips with the loss of our country through illegal immigration by millions of people who will not assimilate as past generations did. We must understand that the loudest voices are not fundamentally pro-American. Pretending that they are has opened the floodgates, leading to a radical shift in our country's direction. It’s as if a swarm of locusts has descended on us, hollowing out our country day by day.
Thankfully, Americans are slowly gaining the courage to reject the left’s call to spread our arms around not just the worst of the worst, but all the many interlopers who want what you have!
Not all immigrants are bad, of course, but the act of coming here illegally forever tarnishes all. That’s the ultimate reality that Biden and politicians like Durbin bequeathed to them all.

Because it's the same as someone claiming he is patriotic – if you have to speak up and say it, no one believes you are.
The good news is the violent left is coming apart at the seams; the bad news is that they are still coming after us, the pro-freedom right.
The violent commie-fascist far left are supplanting the sane people in the party, because the latter are afraid of their crazies like everyone else.
Violent leftists are still full of rage against freedom, the country, and President Trump in particular.
It's to the point that left-leaning publications are openly warning them that they are going overboard and driving away normal, sane voters.
But that's the problem for them in general, and because of this, they're openly splitting themselves apart in a leftist cold civil war, but the far-left end of the party is increasingly embracing threats and violence.
And these always have a chilling effect on some.
So, read what their saner voices are saying, and then listen to their new threats. Because while they might be destroying themselves, leftists seem to always like to burn things down in the process when they don't get their way.

I refer, as you may have guessed, to the case of Maine Senate candidate Graham Platner and the rinse-wash-repeat pattern that has become all too familiar for the party in the digital age.
It goes something like this: Political outsider or mostly new name mounts statewide campaign with online video that leans heavily on compelling biography or powerful oratory, out-of-state liberal hobbyists quickly fall in love and fork over money, and journalists rush to profile the latest heartthrob before inevitable disappointment when the candidate loses or, well, becomes John Fetterman.
Then this was from only a few days ago: Left-wing ideas have wrecked Democrats’ brand, new report warns.
Democrats have badly weakened their party with left-leaning ideas and rhetoric, growing only with self-described “white liberals” while losing ground with other voters, according to a new center-left group’s report shared first with Semafor.
The group, called Welcome, consulted hundreds of thousands of voters over six months for its broad findings, including that 70% of voters think the Democratic Party is “out of touch.” Most voters, the group found, believe the party over-prioritizes issues like “protecting the rights of LGBTQ+ Americans,” and “fighting climate change” while not caring about “securing the border” or “lowering the rate of crime.”
The saner side of the commie-fascist party (we say that because it should be obvious that both collectivist ideologies that favor big authoritarian governments are leftist) is clearly trying to warn the crazies that they are leading the left down a dead end, but instead of listening, they are threatening.
This is likely because they are plum out of good ideas, and that violence is the only thing they have left to force their socialist national agenda on the people, whether they want it or not.
Thus, we're seeing violent leftists practically cheering on political violence, as in podcaster Jennifer Welch laughing in reaction to footage of a "No Kings" protester celebrating conservative activist Charlie Kirk’s death, telling Democrats they need to cater to such voters going forward, after which she openly threatened the Democratic establishment:
"So listen up, Democratic establishment," Welch said on her podcast. "You can either jump on board with this s---, or we're coming after you in the same way that we come after MAGA. Period."

"Kudos to Bernie, to AOC, to Zohran, and that woman out in somewhere middle America saying, ‘F--- Charlie Kirk. He was a racist. He was a piece of s---,’" she said. "There are so many more of us than there are of them. And these Democrats that continue to play patty cake with corporations and lobbyists, nobody wants that. Nobody wants you."
So, the ever-violent commie–fascist far left is not only threatening everyone on the pro-freedom side of the political spectrum, but their comrades as well if they don't get on board the Zohran Mamdani the Commie crazy train (fare free and fast of course )

But even a weak endorsement from Hakeem Jeffries for Zohran Mamdani is enough. They know their goose is cooked. Even if they’re not happy about it, they have no choice but to go along with it.
So, where does all of this leave the rest of us on the pro-freedom side of the political spectrum, while the left appears to be going into self-destruct mode?
There is always the temptation to sit back with a big bowl of popcorn and watch the fireworks.
The problem is that one side is going to win, and if it's people who have already lost the plot, there is no telling where they will go. With one distinct possibility.
Red/Green Alliance.
If Mamdani the Commie wins in New York, the national socialist media will suddenly discover that Islamophobia is the biggest scourge of our time faster than you can say 9/11.
And while a Red/Green Alliance wasn't really touched upon too much during the campaign season, it'll also suddenly become the talk of the town, as well as a repudiation of President Trump.
We know from history that another national party of socialists had an affinity for Islamicists, so this is nothing new.
We already know from basic economics and logic that every one of his fascist policy proposals, such as freezing rent, will be a disaster, along with the rest of his collectivist agenda. But these won't be blamed on him. Just chalk it up to the 'I word' as their new universal excuse.
The violent commie-fascist far left will work over time to blame shift any problems while trying to replicate Mamdani the Commie's "success."
Trying to falsely characterize this as a contest between collectivist left communism and collectivist left fascism. But it's really a showdown between communism and economic freedom. Buckle up, it's going to be a bumpy ride.

We underestimate Mamdani and the 'eat-the-rich' movement at our peril.
The market factors that trigger capital flight take time. Wealthy people and corporations take time to relocate to more tax-friendly environments. It takes time to sell whatever real estate assets one may possess in “the City.” With increased supply and a depressed forecast for investment, many will either hold their asset(s) or take the loss. Either option delays the inevitable.
The DNC, globalists, and Zohran Mamdani’s Muslim, and sadly, Jewish, backers will be wont to “prove” their economic model a success.
Expect billions (if not trillions) to be thrown at New York City in the early stages of Mamdani’s tenure.
How many California billionaires will be all-too willing to donate to the cause? How about, the Qataris, Egyptians, Iranian mullahs, and other foreign governments associated with “the Muslim Brotherhood”? Rich leftists, some of whom are Jewish, will happily contribute, hoping that they are eaten (punished) last.
Communism can succeed “for a time.” Just ask a Venezuelan.
What then transpires is what has been exposed in the Schumer Shutdown – the Democrats have been buying constituencies for decades.
A few illegal aliens getting healthcare subsidies here, well-connected NGOs getting government grift over there, and 42 million Americans (and non-Americans) looking to gubmint for next month's food stipend.
Mamdani is only expanding on the roadmap that progressives have been laying for a generation – a dependent constituency is a loyal constituency.
Free buses. Subsidized grocery stores. Subsidized childcare. Subsidized health care. Rent control. All paid for with “other people’s money.”
That other people’s money in the short term will be entities that seek America’s destruction (see above).
The year 2025 is one year from the 2026 midterms and about a year before the DNC Primary (or anointment) transpires, (s)electing the next Democratic-Socialist candidate for president of the United States.
Mamdani can (and likely will) have a very successful one-to-three-year run. The people will rejoice. Communism will have succeeded, until it doesn’t. Then as the saying goes;
You can vote your way into communism, but you’ll have to shoot your way out.

Black Lives Matter Under Federal Investigation For Donor Fraud: Report
A probe into the Marxist nonprofit Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation (BLMGNF), which was initially opened under the Biden-Harris administration, has seen renewed interest from federal prosecutors in President Trump's second term over allegations that the far-left group defrauded donors.

AP News reports that the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Central District of California, in Los Angeles, is conducting a federal investigation into BLMGNF. Federal agents have issued subpoenas and at least one search warrant in recent weeks targeting the foundation and other affiliated groups.

It was not clear if the investigation would result in criminal charges, but its mere existence invites fresh scrutiny to a movement that in recent years has faced criticism about its public accounting of donations they have received.

One of the people said the investigation had been initiated during the Biden administration but is getting renewed attention during the Trump administration. A second person confirmed that allegations were examined in the Biden administration.
The foundation said it took in over $90 million in donations, following the 2020 murder of George Floyd...
Critics of the nonprofit foundation, and of the BLM movement broadly, accused organizers of not being transparent about how it was spending the donations. That criticism grew louder after BLM foundation leaders in 2022 confirmed they used donations to purchase a $6 million Los Angeles-area property that includes a home with six bedrooms and bathrooms.

Recall that left-wing BLM rioters seized on George Floyd's death to unleash riots and chaos nationwide in 2020. The Marxist group later scrubbed from its website a section declaring its goal to "disrupt the Western-prescribed nuclear family structure," in other words, the very family framework that underpins Western civilization.
"We disrupt the Western-prescribed nuclear family structure requirement by supporting each other as extended families and 'villages' that collectively care for one another, especially our children, to the degree that mothers, parents, and children are comfortable," BLM's website formerly read.
BLM's early beginnings are very questionable.
According to Washington Examiner reporter Mike Gonzalez, BLM's origins may trace back two decades to Venezuela, where a foreign influence operation was developed and later exported to the U.S. to sow domestic chaos. Wild claims, but this type of statecraft is nothing new.
Federal scrutiny of BLMGNF comes as the White House has declared war on radical left nonprofits that conspire against the U.S. and sow chaos on city streets.
Dark-money NGO networks, including the Arabella Network, Soros Network, Gates Foundation, Ford Foundation, Tides Foundation, Rockefeller Network, Singham Network, and many others have been hitting the headlines, including a report from investigative researchers Peter Schweizer and Seamus Bruner of the Government Accountability Institute that say these groups are funding permanent protest industrial complex and the engine behind color revolution-style operations against President Trump and MAGA.
