Far-left extremists who allegedly planned LA NYE terror attack also wanted to ‘take out’ ICE agents

A group of far-left extremists allegedly planned to kill ICE agents after carrying out their New Year’s Eve terror plot against American businesses.

Four bizarrely nicknamed members of a group known as the “Order of the Black Lotus” — a splinter group of the “anti-capitalist” Turtle Island Liberation Front — planned to plant pipe bombs at two US companies in Los Angeles, according to a federal prosecutors.

Afterward, the group planned to attack federal immigration agents and their vehicles with pipe bombs beginning in January or February 2026 — in the hopes the blasts “would take some of them out and scare the rest of them,” according to the criminal complaint.

The New Year’s Eve plot, dubbed “Operation Midnight Sun,” consisted of planting backpacks stuffed with bombs at two companies, according to a handwritten plan discovered by investigators.

Four suspects were arrested: Audrey Carroll, 30, also known as “Asiginaak” and “black moon”; Zachary Page, 32, who went by “Ash Kerrigan,” “AK” and “cthulu’s daughter”; Dante Garfield, 24, known as “Cedar” or “Nomad”; and Tina Lai, 41, whose alias was “Kickwhere.”

Search warrants also found signs declaring “Death to America,” “Death to ICE” and “Long live Turtle Island and Palestine,” officials announced Monday.

The suspects were busted in Lucerne Valley in the Mojave Desert, where they were caught on video trying to detonate improvised explosive devices, Los Angeles First Assistant US Attorney Bill Essayli told reporters at a news conference.

They were each charged with conspiracy and possession of an unregistered destructive device.

A fifth unidentified suspect was arrested in New Orleans while planning a separate attack.
