Luke Air Force Base, located in Arizona, United States, announced in a statement on Friday that it lifted the previously imposed lockdown. Earlier, an alleged active shooting incident was reported.
"We initiated lockdown procedures to protect our people while our Security Forces Defenders and law enforcement partners assessed the situation. We use these measures decisively and proactively, and today they worked exactly as intended," Brigadier General David Berkland said.
The base announced that it didn't find an "active threat" in the reported area, with all operations continuing "as normal."
