Ukraine military aid jumps 30% to $45B in 2025

Ukrainian Defense Minister Denys Shmyhal said on Wednesday that military support for Ukraine surged by 30% in 2025 compared to the previous year, amounting to over $45 billion. Over $5 billion was part of NATO's initiative to pool funds to buy weapons from the United States, while allies provided more than $6 billion to finance the Ukrainian defense industry.

Shmyhal reported that Ukraine's defense budget came to around $73 billion this year and that 76% of all procured weapons came from domestic manufacturers. Around 3 million first-person view (FPV) drones were delivered to the military, along with 15,000 ground robots, while the output of interceptor drones was ramped up to 950 per day.
