Russia's Ministry of Emergency Situations said its mobile application came under a "massive cyberattack," TASS reported on Monday local time.
The attackers, whom the report didn't identify, "managed to send fake information to the population," the ministry said, noting that it's working to eliminate the app's vulnerability and restore normal service.
Ukraine said earlier that its air raid alert app had been hacked after it sent out warnings of nuclear, chemical and street fighting threats in Kyiv.
