Iran's supreme leader is ‘unconscious’ - Times

The Times reports that Iran’s Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei is unconscious and receiving treatment in the city of Qom, citing a US–Israeli intelligence memo shared with Arab allies.

According to the report, the memo states that Khamenei is currently unable to govern and is undergoing treatment in the religious center south of Tehran.

The newspaper said the information has been circulated among regional partners and may represent the first indication of Khamenei’s location since the war began.

Khamenei has not appeared publicly since the conflict between Iran, the United States and Israel erupted more than five weeks ago.

The presidency of the Kurdistan region called on the Iraqi federal government to take responsibility to prevent such attacks and stop what it described as repeated violations against the region and its civilians.
