Benchmark analyst Bruce Jackson noted that Biofrontera announced an agreement to acquire U.S. dermatology company Cutanea Life Sciences following last week’s announcement of a new collaborative research and development agreement with Maruho for Biofrontera’s acne drug, Ameluz. He sees both deals as positive for both companies, noting that Biofrontera gains funding to move Ameluz forward more quickly and Maruho gains an expanded U.S. salesforce. Jackson keeps a Buy rating on Biofrontera shares.
