Personalis gains on new $38M VA task order

Personalis (NASDAQ:PSNL) is up 5.8% postmarket after noting a new task order from the Dept. of Veterans Affairs.

The order for the VA’s Million Veteran Program comes under Personalis’ contract with the department. The MVP contracted Personalis first in 2012 to provide DNA sequencing and data analysis.

The task order has a value of up to about $38.1M; the cumulative value of task orders under the contract is now $145M.
