Adial Pharma up on FDA emergency use nod for fingerstick COVID-19 blood test

Nano cap Adial Pharmaceuticals (ADIL +54.3%) is up in early trade on a healthy 18x surge in volume on the heels of emergency use authorization (EUA) in the U.S. for its Assure/FaStep COVID-10 IgG/IgM Rapid Test Device, a point-of-care assay that can be performed with a fingerstick sample, the first to receive the FDA EUA nod.

The test, which generates a result in ~10 minutes, was approved for emergency use in July using serum, plasma or whole blood (blood drawn from the arm) samples.
