Hamas to swap 20 hostages for nearly 2,000 prisoners

 Hamas will release 20 living hostages this weekend, The Associated Press reported, citing people familiar with the talks, as part of the first phase of the Gaza deal.

Meanwhile, the source with the group told AFP these hostages will be exchanged for nearly 2,000 Palestinian prisoners within 72 hours of the deal's implementation. The arrangement also includes a temporary halt in fighting and the exchange of prisoners.

United States President Donald Trump said on social media that "ALL" hostages would be released soon and that Israel would move its troops to "agreed upon line."
