The diplomatic teams from Kiev and Washington will still meet and discuss how to end the conflict in Eastern Europe despite Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky's aide Andriy Yermak resigning, according to Barak Ravid from Axios.
The report alleged that Ukraine will be represented by National Security and Defence Council Secretary Rustem Umerov, and the United States by Special Envoy to the Middle East Steve Witkoff and President Donald Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner.
Yermak, Zelensky's former head of the Presidential Office, resigned after the Ukrainian anti-corruption agency opened an investigation against him. His exit reportedly came before his trip to the US for the meeting with Washington's representatives.
